At the age of 16, Eva moved across the world to embark on a journey of 9 years of international education and work experience in 8 cities and 3 languages that allowed her to identify the path she wants to take both personally and professionally. The journey was by no means a straight one. She started off with a passion for culture, languages and international communications, which led her to Australia, England and Spain.
Growing up in a family of educators and then working in education herself, Eva developed an interest in the possibilities of cultural change and social mobility through education. This initiated her transition from predominantly online marketing roles to a strategic partnerships role in the education sector. It was here, where Eva found great pleasure in building long-lasting partnerships between businesses and young adults. The subsequent Master program in Culture and Society at the LSE helped her to understand our societal structures and opportunities for social mobility. While her attention shifted towards the role of effective philanthropy within our society, she was particularly interested in researching the culture of wealth and philanthropic visions. This is how she met and interviewed David, who just happened to have the perfect job for her!
Eva really doesn’t have a hat face but is currently wearing about five hats at any one time. Typical start-up environment. Eva is responsible for everything from projects to operations. You’ll find her planning, overseeing and documenting the various projects Headway are working on and optimising the processes while they go along – that’s the German efficiency kicking in.
